Whats been goin' on at the Jensens

A lot of pictures but thought I would do a quick update on whats been going on!!! ( They are in random order.)



I don't think moving is very fun at all but my kids sure seem to make it fun!!!
(P.S. We moved !!)


Taylie playing in the water feature at the mall while Jared was selling Skyrunners(jumping stilts) !!! We finally finished for now but we will be back at the mall for christmas time.




Taylie lost her first tooth in the car waiting for grandma at the airport.


Ambree turned 8 years old and was Baptized. Such a great day!!!

Well, he is a boy and going into the 6th grade I guess that makes sense.







In Newport with are Friends the Madsens. A much needed trip right before the big move!!! Now Im ready for one after the big move!!!

Ambree on the last day of school!!!

Its hot outside.....

Yes its 100 degrees today and being outside just sanding there alone is a killler, so to top that off we were outside from 10- 1:30 at a school track meet!!! Justin ran the 800, 400, and did the high Jump. Maggie ran the 400 , 800 , and the relay. They did so great and I love seeing them work so hard to get across that finish line. Although long term track doesn't matter much, we hope they work this hard in the race back to our Heavnly Father to cross theat finish line!!!Just like im waiting there for my children so excited for them that they worked so hard I have to think that is just a glimpse of how happy our Heavenly Father will be waiting there for us we we cross that finish line!!! Still don't have a camera back, so no pictures yet but hopefuly soon!!!

Justin has just started this series and loved. There are several in the series and he can't wait to get the next one!!!
Summers coming quickly so its always nice to find a good series to keep them busy!!!!

Journal Time!!!

Whats going on at our house this last week....
Justin had 2 baseball games this week baseball practice on wednesday
Track practice after school everyday except wednesday, Basketball
tournament on Saturday ( Yes that would be 3 different sports.)

Maggie had track practice after school, Choir practice on Saturday to get ready for the spring performance
and got to run around with us to Justins games

Ambree Loves getting home from school an hour early and being able to have a little
alone time with Taylie so they can really get in some school/house play.
She also had choir practice


Taylie Enjoyed going to preschool this week and was so excited for the big May Day
parade at schoool, they were all pretty cute with there nicely decorated hats and bow ties.

Jared and Misty
Got back Tuesday from a fun getaway for our 12th Anniversary to Santa Barbara and then off to Del Mar with a little detour to Disneyland which is always so much fun with the two of us. Jared (or me ) would have never thougt we would have liked Disneyland as much as we do. We got back Tuesday night and we were so exited to be back with the kids. I have realized its always nice to have a break sometimes but what would life be like with out these guys!!!! There are no pictures because my camera that I just got ( in december after our camera got stolen) is having some problems so I had to send it into canon to get it fixed. So Im just going to start journaling at least once a week so I can make one of those books of your blog everyone is talking about.

Wrong date !!!

The last entry was actually posted April 17th . I guess since I saved it on March 17th thats the date on there!!! Just wanted to clarify.

I've been Tagged !!! My big come back !!!!

I started writing this about a month ago and I keep thinking Im going to finish it but of course I never do!!!
This is more or less the story of my life!!!! At leat I feel like that sometimes. So here is part of my "big come back" and maybe I will eventually finish. I know this is pretty sad but as my daughter Maggie tells me all the time " It is what it is mom!!!"


Where was I 10 years ago:

We were living here in Fresno in a apartment over by Fresno State.
(Not exactly the best area) Maggie was due in May and so I was despretly looking for another place to live that was 1 bigger and 2 a better area. We found a much better apartment and were asll settled in time for Maggie to be born!!!


Things on my " To Do List" for today:

Well I do make lists and lots of them because Im always losing my list. But today Is the first day of Spring Break Vacation, so we are like in vacation mode. ALthough I have a few things I do have to get done.
1. Laundry
2.FHE lesson
3.Laundry
4.mail b-day gift off for Jages
5. Laundry
6.organize scrapbook closet
7.Laundry
8.get stuff for justins science project
9.Laundry

The list goes on and on. Sounds like fun???!!!???


What would I do if I was a Billonaire:
Pay off all of our stuff
Cancer Research
Pay for as many Misssionarys as I can that need some finacial help.
Start a LDS type of Private schoool for the Fresno/Clovis area
Travel, Travel , Travel
and probabley many more unnessisary things.

The search for the Christmas present we already had at one point!!!

Im sure many of you are doing the same thing im doing, looking for those gifts on your kids christmas lists. Well, I actually had already bought this particular gift for Justins b-day in September and he was so excited that he wanted to take it with us to Arizona and Utah to play with his friends and cousins.I had no problem with that so in the car it went. HE had fun playing it in Arizona and then we loaded it up to go to Utah after that. Well we got to Utah late Tuesday night and we decided to bring in just the suitcases and decided we would get the rest of the stuff the next day. (big mistake) Well Justin and all of his cousins were so excited the next day to be able to play the NEW Nintendo Wii(what he had just got for his b-day). My mother in law, Sister in law and I had all gone shopping so I told Justin he could get the Wii out to play with his cousins. A few minutes later a get a call and its Justin saying that the Wii isn't in the car. So I tell him someone must have brought it in to the house last night so to look in the house for it. So a little while later a get anoher call and they have looked everywhere and they still can't find it. Im still thinking that it must be somewhere in the house so I tell him to just keep looking and we will be home in alittle bit. I didn't get another call so I thought they had found it. When we got home Justin tells me that they still couldn't find it. So im thinking they just haven't looked very well so I go out to thet car and think maybe it got movedto the front of the car and just didn't see it. I then realize that there were some other things missing that I had not seen come into the house. Long story short we soon realize that are car had been broken into and that we are not only missing the Wii, games and all the accesories that aren't cheap, but also 2 Skyrunners(Jumping stilts that Jared had got in china),my brand new 30D canon camera and video camera that I had thought i had brought in the night before, and Justins back pack full of all his text booksfor school. So now the only thing Justin wants for christmas is the Wii of course which is so frustrating because it isn't cheap and we already had bought that and 3rd I guess its on everyones christmas list because you can't find it anywhere.
So really im just venting,because I don't want to buy another one but it is the only thing he wants for christmas, and I cant find it anywhere . So if you happen to see it just let me know so I can put out money AGAIN for the not so cheap Wii!!!!

Halloween Night 2007

Jared went to China and brought the girls back all little china dresses. They loved them and wanted to wear them for Halloween Night. We had fun coloring there hair black and putting on some fun make up. Justin was the same thing but he was on his Skyrunneres (more info on these later they are way cool) that Jared came back with from his trip (thats why he looks so tall)!!! Oh and yes im always a little behind on posting pictures but thats just how it goes!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Im slowly trying to get caught up to some current events!!! We finallly made it to the pumpkin Patch and the kids had to find just the right one. As many of you are aware of this can sometimes be a long process!!!!!

Arrow of Light!!!!

Justin got his Arrow of Light and is moving out of Cub Scouts to Scouts. He is really excited about it as are we for him.
We were laughing in this picture because they told me they were going to give him his award the next pack meeting and Maggie and Ambree had to be somewhere so I took them and when I got back they had already gave him his award. So we could get a picture of the event they had us come up so he could put the pin on me. As he was doing this he poked his finger. OUCH!!!!

Camping Jensen Style!!!!!

Ok so Justin had to have a ovewrnighter camp out in order to recieve his arrow of light.Of course we were out of town when they did this with his troop so that left us to get this completed.It seemed as though every weekened there was something going on untill finally it was the last weekened before he turned 11 and he had to finish it before then. Going up tp the mountains just wasn't going to work out for us because he had basketball the next morning at 9am. So we opted for the backyard camp out. It was astually alot of fun and nice being so close to running water adn some indoor plumbing.

Templates??!!!??

Ok so I found this awesome site to get templates for your blog. The only problem is that I can't get the center solid color to show up(so that it is not so hard to read). I have left a comment on the girls blog that I got this from but if any of you have any other suggestions let me know. Anyways you guys should check her site out she is great and all the templates are free. Im sure it is just something im doing wrong on here, wish me luck on figuiring this out.Here is her web site

Football!!

Justin decided to go out for football rather then run cross country this year and has fun being in the pads and all!!! He has done a great job and has never played any kind of ball before and made the varsity team. He is still getting used to the fact that at any point in the game you could be seriously stomped on. On his first game I said "Are you excited about the game today? " and Maggie chimed in and said "Hes a little nervous." I asked why he was nervous and he quickly said " Mom you would be to if 15 guys were going to land on you." Well thats what football is and you either like it or you don't. Right??? Oh, by the way Justin is #6

Maggie is also doing cheer so after she runs X-country she hussles and gets her cheer outfit on and cheers on the Rams!!!

Cross Country!!!

Maggie has had her first 2 races in cross country at school and is doing awesome!!! Justin ran in cross country last year and told her she had to keep the Jensen name going. Well she has got 1st place in the last 2 races and so I think she has done a great job. Someone walked up to us after the last race and asked " Maggie, How does your still look so good after running like that? I have to say for girl if your hair still looks good after something like that it always makes you feel good!!!!!
